Man of the Matchday (July 6): JAMES DALY

James Daly was given the title of Man of the Matchday for not only predicting the correct result between the Netherlands and Uruguay, but foreseeing the exact score as well. The three points he earned on Tuesday keep him well in contention to win the predictions league.

"Thank you [manager] Oscar Tabarez for taking off Diego Forlan, otherwise Uruguay may have scored more than just a late consolation," he said. "This game certainly had goals in it, but the Netherlands' quality (via about 400 deflections) shone through."
