Felipe Melo returns for quarter-final clash

Brazil battler Felipe Melo has shaken off an ankle injury to slot back in for the heavyweight World Cup 2010 quarter-final clash against the Netherlands.

Head coach Dunga had been without the Juventus midfielder for the second round match against Chile. The 27-year old has been declared fit after missing training this week and joins up alongside Gilberto Silva.

For the Netherlands, head coach Bert van Marwijk had originally selected the players that started the 2-1 second round victory against Slovakia. During the warm-up for today's match, centre back Joris Mathijsen pulled up with injury and has been replaced by veteran Andre Ooijer.

Up-front, Arjen Robben will be expected to continue to shake off his fitness problems that hampered the early weeks of the tournament.
