World Cup top goalscorer Gonzalo Higuain and strike partner Carlos Tevez have been restored to the Argentina starting line-up for their last 16 clash with Mexico.
The duo were rested for the last group game against Greece but have been brought back by manager Diego Maradona along with Angel di Maria and captain Javier Mascherano.
Elsewhere, Nicolas Burdisso continues to deputise for the injured Walter Samuel at centre-back, while full-back Gabriel Heinze slots back into defence.
For Mexico, Javier Hernandez has been awarded his first start while fellow forward Adolfo Bautista makes his first appearance of the finals.
