Good news for Italy...Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini has recovered from a calf muscle strain and is back in full training, according to Tuttosport.
The stopper has been working his way back to a heavier training load and he is back in action with the rest of the squad for the first time since last week.
He worked with the ball as Marcello Lippi tried out different tactics and formations including a 4-2-3-1 which he has been trying to refine over the last few sessions.
Another afternoon session is expected, before Lippi announces his final 23-man squad at around 19:00 CET. Salvatore Sirigu, Salvatore Bocchetti, Fabio Quagliarella, Giuseppe Rossi and Andrea Cossu have been tipped as the five who will stay at home.
