Many consider Spain as the sky high favourites to win the 2010 World Cup after their victory at Euro 2008 and their impressive qualifying campaign. Defender Raul Albiol has admitted that Spain are among the favourites, but emphasised that it will not be easy for La Furia Roja.

"People are already asking me about the World Cup. Their excitement and hopes are obvious. Everything's changed since we won Euro 2008. We will try to live up to people's hopes and dreams," said Albiol on the Real Madrid website.

"I dream about making it to the final. We will have to work very hard to reach that far. It will be hard, but I think we may make it. I believe Brazil, Argentina and Italy are three of the strongest sides in the championship.

"Spain are favourites, like some of the other teams are. We have to prove this. We must be humble and work hard to win our games. Every Spaniard dreams about winning the World Cup."

Spain will have to deal with Switzerland, Chile and Honduras if they are to survive the group phase.
