The Slovenia skipper has made it clear that his side won't be easy beats...Slovenia somewhat surprisingly eliminated Russia to book their ticket for the 2010 World Cup and skipper Robert Koren has made it clear that the Slovenians shouldn't be taken lightly this summer.
"We showed everyone what we can do during qualifying, and I don’t think anyone should underestimate us. We are a good side, the fact we’re up to 23 in the FIFA Rankings shows that, and we’re all confident of doing well in South Africa. We’ve reached our goal by qualifying, but our job is not done yet," said Koren to the official FIFA website.
"We want to get through from the group stage if we can, and I believe we are good enough to do that. I’m sure we will enjoy it whatever happens. The World Cup is the biggest tournament in football.
"As players, we have to appreciate, and make the most of, this opportunity. It’s something special for us and we will go there to enjoy it and make our country proud."
