FIFA Opens Investigation Into Events Before Egypt-Algeria Clash

FIFA have officially opened disciplinary proceedings related to the World Cup qualifying tie between Egypt and Algeria on November 14.
According to the official reports received by FIFA, on November 12 there were a number of incidents affecting the Algerian team on their way from the airport to the hotel.
Consequently, disciplinary proceedings have been opened against the Egyptian Football Association. The FIFA Disciplinary Committee will decide on the case.
Egypt eventually beat the Algerians in the aforementioned game. However, The Fennecs bounced back with a 1-0 victory in the decisive play-off in order to qualify for the South Africa.
