"If I was the president of the Paraguayan federation, for example, and a coach said something like Maradona expressed himself, that person would stop being the coach of the team immediately," said the influential Chilavert.
The former Velez Sarsfield and Penarol goalkeeper admitted that Maradona was a great player, but insisted that now he has no choice but to behave like a coach.
"As a player, Maradona was a genius, but he has yet to think that he is the coach of a national team who represents a country, he has let them down once again."
Meanwhile, Gerardo Martino, the coach of Paraguay, dared to disagree with one of the country's all-time heroes.
"His (Maradona´s) contract must be renovated after the World Cup of 2010 because he is a serious coach and he has done things well," said Martino.
