French Rejection
The French Football Federation (FFF) have confirmed they will not replay there World Cup play-off match with the Republic of Ireland. Irish had requested for FIFA to sanction a replay, but the FFF, while expressing sympathy for the Irish, refused to entertain such a notion.

FIFA: No Replay
FIFA have confirmed that they will not grant the Football Association of Ireland's request for a replay of the World Cup play-off game between France and the Republic of Ireland.

Ireland Demand Replay
The Football Association of Ireland's chief executive, John Delany has written a formal letter to FIFA demanding the 1-1 draw against France in the World Cup qualifying playoff be annulled and the match to be replayed. Delaney is also asking for the French FA to agree to a rematch.

Henry Is Not A Cheat
David Beckham has leapt to the defence of France striker Thierry Henry, claiming that his controversial handball incident does not mean that he should be branded as a "cheat".
