The shot-stopper is pleased with the Liga champions' interest, but says he is focused on Napoli now since joining on loan from LiverpoolNapoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina is honoured that Barcelona see him as a potential replacement for Victor Valdes when the shot-stopper leaves the Catalans at the end of his current contract next year.
The 30-year-old was linked with a move to Camp Nou this summer as there was uncertainty whether Valdes would see out his contract or leave to Monaco.
However, a move never materialised as Valdes stressed that he had no intention to leave Barca ahead of the 2013-14 campaign, with Reina eventually departing Liverpool for a one-year loan spell at Napoli instead.
"It is definitely an honour that Barcelona were considering me and are thinking about me. We will see what happens in the future," Reina told Onda Cero.
"I'm focused on Napoli now, though, and I'm ready to give my all for the team. They have received me very well here."
Reina's Liverpool deal runs until June 2016, but he seems unlikely to see out his contract with the Premier League side following the arrival of Simon Mignolet from Sunderland this summer.
