The 23-year-old is hoping for a second shot at San Siro having left the club less than two years agoSaint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has confirmed his desire to return to AC Milan, some 18 months after quitting the club.
The 23-year-old is believed to have courted interest from Europe's finest after netting 19 goals for les Verts in Ligue 1 last season, with only Zlatan Ibrahimovic boasting a superior goalscoring record.
However, the Gabon international - who rose through the ranks at San Siro - has revealed there is only club for him - the Rossoneri, and admits he was naive to quit the Italian giants.
Speaking to French magazine Scarface, he said: "A few years ago they told me that after playing with Milan, if I were to leave, then I’d want to come back to the club.
"I now feel ready to confirm it really is like that. They were right. I would like a return to Milan, but I don’t know if that would be an easy thing to achieve."
Aubameyang has long been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain but last month confirmed he has not yet received an offer from the Ligue 1 champions.
