The 29-year-old has sparked further rumours about where he will be plying his trade next season by admitting his affection for his former club

AC Milan forward Robinho has fuelled speculation regarding his future by refusing to rule out a move to Santos.

Earlier in the week, Peixe president Odilio Rodrigues confirmed both parties were communicating in an attempt to thrash out a deal for the 29-year-old.

Robinho, who spent three years with the Brazilian giants prior to joining Real Madrid in 2005, revealed that no concrete offer has yet been made, but the former Manchester City attacker did little to dissuade them from doing so by failing to commit his long-term future to the Rossoneri.

"I'm very happy to stay at Milan and I've still got one more year on my contract," he told reporters.

"Will I return to Santos? Right now it's a question I cannot answer, but it is clear that Santos is my boyhood club and I have many good memories of my time there.

"However, they [Santos] have not made an official offer and Milan have shown any signs they want to sell me."

Robinho found himself on the fringes of coach Massimiliano Allegri's plans for much of last season, making 23 Serie A appearances and scoring just two goals.
