thumbnail Hello,

The Giallorossi legend has stressed the side's focus as they bid to end the season with silverware

Francesco Totti says Roma will treat their Coppa Italia final with Lazio like a Champions League final.

The Giallorossi captain knows what another trophy would mean to the club, especially with the team likely to miss out on the Champions League for a third consecutive season.

“In the Italian Cup final on May 26, we will play against Lazio at the same level we would a Champions League final,” he told Goal.

Totti continues to chase Silvio Piola’s Serie A goalscoring record, but insists the cup final is more important to him and his team:

“Scoring all those goals is definitely not an easy thing, but my goal is very clear," he added.

The forward has spent his whole career with Roma, and despite rumours of big-money moves to other clubs ever since he made his debut back in 1993, the 36-year-old insists he wouldn't change a thing about his time at the Stadio Olimpico.

“Certainly I could have won more trophies if I went somewhere else, but I have never regretted that decision, even for a second of my life. I listened to my heart.”
