thumbnail Hello,

The Colombian is raring to go ahead of Sunday's crunch encounter and believes his side know the way to defeating the Bianconeri

AC Milan defender Cristian Zapata claims evidence that Juventus are not invincible ahead of their clash on Sunday can be found in the defeat inflicted by Bayern Munich.

Antonio Conte's men are on course for successive Scudetto victories after another dominant domestic campaign, but were sent packing from the Champions League with a 4-0 loss to die Roten.

And Zapata believes the key to defeating the Italian champions lies in the Bavarians' approach.

"When Juventus play with high intensity, they become a terrifying opponent," the 26-year-old acknowledged to Tuttosport. "But Bayern have taught us to play with personality.

"They have taught us that taking and keeping the ball is the way to beat them in Turin. Juve play the ball like no other in Italy, but we also know how to keep possession and play the ball on the ground.

"The key on our part will be personality; we want to play and not just suffer. I expect a tough challenge in every sense, a very technical and physical one."

Zapata has become a permanent fixture for the San Siro giants after joining on loan from relegated Villarreal, and the stopper has asked the club to recognise his rejuvenated form by purchasing him outright this summer.

"The relegation with Villarreal took a little confidence out of me, but since joining this great team I have regained it and now see the real Zapata," he concluded.

"I think I've passed the test. If I were [CEO Adriano] Galliani, I would have no doubts [about paying the attached €6 million transfer clause].
