Conte: Bologna can trouble Juventus
The successful coach has stressed that the Scudetto holders cannot afford to underestimate this weekend's opponents
Juventus coach Antonio Conte has warned his players that Saturday's Serie A encounter against Bologna will not be an easy match. The Turin giants comfortably sit atop of the league table, but Conte has stressed that the Felsinei will not be pushovers as they have been in fine form in recent weeks.
"Winning on Saturday would send out a clear message to the rest of the championship - but it won’t be easy," Conte said at a press conference.
"We’re facing Serie A’s in-form team, who have registered three consecutive successes over excellent sides. They’re virtually safe and will be gunning for victory against the league leaders.
"Bologna certainly have the possibility of achieving a result. They have an excellent coach in [Stefano] Pioli and quality players. They are at the peak of their physical and mental form and will want to dictate the game."
Bologna currently sit 10th in Serie A with 35 points from 28 games.
