Fabio Capello has criticised Inter attacker Antonio Cassano's attitude in the wake of a recent incident between the Italy international and Nerazzurri coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
Cassano was dropped from the Inter squad for the 3-2 Serie A win over Catania at the weekend following a quarrel with Stramaccioni in the dressing room after Friday's training session, and Capello believes that the forward's behaviour has hindered him throughout his career.
"Cassano is a good lad. He's very generous and has a lot of talent. However, he does not know the limits of respect," Capello told Rai.
"He has a certain vision on football and that's the only right way for him. He loses the respect of his team-mates because of this.
"He should learn that there are times where you have to accept other people's decisions. It's a real shame because he could achieved a lot more."
Cassano has apologised for Friday's events and is expected to make his comeback against Tottenham in the Europa League on Thursday.
