Juventus will win the Scudetto, says Galliani
The AC Milan CEO has lost all hope of securing the league title this term, but says his side should aim for a second-placed finish instead
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is certain that Juventus will go on to retain their Serie A crown. The Bianconeri currently hold a handsome lead at the top of the table, but after the Rossoneri enjoyed an upturn in form, the 68-year-old is optimistic ahead of the remainder of the campaign.
"Will Juve win Serie A? Absolutely. That's what I think," the 68-year-old told Rai Sport.
"But after the two matches of Napoli and our next match, we could think about the second place. Now it's too early to talk about it, however.''
Milan were denied a Derby della Madonnina victory by Inter on Sunday, and Galliani went on to praise Nerazzurri keeper Samir Handanovic's performance.
"I'm not disappointed with the draw because in the first half, we have scored three or four. But on our way we found out what a strong goalkeeper Handanovic is.''
