Mazzarri: I don't give a damn what Juventus do

The Partenopei trainer has hit back at the Bianconeri's suggestions that the fixture list was working against them and called upon his side to bounce back from their midweek loss
Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has insisted that he does not "give a damn" about Juventus' suggestions that the fixture schedule works against the Bianconeri.Antonio Conte had announced his concerns that his side were to play Roma on Saturday, having travelled to Celtic on Tuesday, but his Partenopoei counterpart has pointed out that their clash with Sampdoria comes just three days after their meeting with Viktoria Plzen on Thursday.
"Juventus? I don't give a damn about what Juventus do," the 51-year-old told reporters.
"They played on Tuesday and are taking to the field on Saturday, while we played on Thursday and will play again on Sunday.
"They can do the maths. I would have preferred to play in the evening at least, but I don't want to go back to that now, and must focus only on ourselves and earning points."
Mazzarri went on to say that he wanted his side to provide a response to their shock 3-0 home loss to Viktoria in midweek.
"It is a given that a coach will expect a totally different showing from his men in the next game, after a performance like the one we produced on Thursday," he continued.
"Crucially, the team must display hunger, but that was not the case. It is my fault the team did not have the right approach.
"Now, we just have to focus on doing as well as possible, game after game."
