Sampdoria coach Ciro Ferrara has insisted his side are not intimidated by the prospect of facing Napoli, despite the presence of 'world-class' players in the Parteponei squad.
The Blucerchiati have been in impressive form since returning to Serie A, having collected eleven points in their opening five games.
The Genoa outfit now find themselves in third place in the league standings despite their one point deduction due to match-fixing incidents, three points off Sunday's opponents Napoli.
"We just want to continue our way," Ferrara revealed.
"It would be great if we can get a result against teams of Napoli's calibre.
"[They] have world-class players, just look at Cavani's last game. They also have Pandev, a strong midfield, and are a very organised group."
The Napoli native went on to discuss the Azzuri's chances of clinching the Serie A title this term, with Walter Materazzi's side currently level on points with holders Juventus atop the league table.
He added: "I think [they can win it], although I think that Juve, in terms of history and strength, still have something more.
"Napoli must hope that in the spring, when the Champions League resumes, Juventus will become a bit tired. They were able to focus only on the championship last year and Napoli could exploit that."
Sunday's clash is scheduled to kick off at 14:00 CET.
