Inter youngster Samuele Longo has revealed his admiration for Diego Milito, and is keen to learn from his team-mates as he aims to make an impact at San Siro in the upcoming season.
The 20-year-old made his Serie A debut back in May, and after Inter purchased the remaining 50 per cent of his rights from Genoa this summer to reward him for his good development, he is keen to continue making progress.
"I'm trying to pick up as many tips as possible from my team-mates," Longo told Inter Channel.
"I've been impressed by Milito obviously, with what he's done and the goals he's scored in these first few days: every shot is a goal."
The youngster then went on to stress that he is determined to break into the first team, and reward Inter for the faith shown in him.
"I'm here now and trying to make the most of this chance I've been given. I'm proud to be a part of this group and I'll give everything I've got to try and work my way into the team. If it doesn't happen then we'll see.
"I'm happy to be back at Inter. I'll do everything I can to repay people for their confidence in me. Obviously I'd like to play as the target man but I'm perfectly happy to do a job anywhere I'm needed."
Longo has already been capped at Under-21 level for Italy.
