The 66-year-old announced on Thursday that he had left his role in the Italian capital despite having the backing of the club's board after guiding the Biancocelesti to a fourth-placed finish in Serie A.
He was immediately associated with Fiorentina, who are on the lookout for a new coach after sacking Delio Rossi and appointing team director Vincenzo Guerini as caretaker boss.
However, Reja has denied such stories and hinted that he may take a sabbatical from football.
"I have never had any contact with Fiorentina and I do not think I will take any offer into consideration," he told Radio Blu.
"I will be honest, I have not had any contact with Fiorentina."
