Diego Milito is relishing the possibility of playing alongside fellow Argentine Ezequiel Lavezzi at Inter in the 2012-13 campaign.
The Nerazzurri are eager to strengthen their squad this summer and they have earmarked the Napoli star as the perfect addition to their attack, much to the delight of Milito.
"I really like playing with champions, and Lavezzi is definitely a champion," Milito was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It would be really nice to play alongside him. He can beat his marker, he is fast, and has an impressive physique. Long story short, he could make a difference."
Aside from Lavezzi, Inter are also being linked with Genoa striker Mattia Destro, who impressed on loan at Siena this season, and Milito wants the 21-year-old return to the Giuseppe Meazza side.
"I would like it [if he joined Inter]. I saw him play when he trained with the first team during [Jose] Mourinho's days. You could already see then that he was a strong player. He's definitely one for a big team."
Destro came through the ranks of the Inter youth academy, but left the club for Genoa in the summer of 2010.
