The 28-year-old wants to extend his stay at San Siro but the Rossoneri have yet to decide if they are willing to stump up a further €8 million for his services
The Rossoneri signed the Argentine on loan from Catania in January after failing to agree terms with Manchester City over the proposed transfer of his compatriot Carlos Tevez, paying an initial €1.5 million for the striker.
Lopez scored just one goal in eight Serie A outings for Milan, though, casting considerable doubt over the club's desire to hand over another €8m to complete the deal.
“My agent will soon meet with the Milan directors," the former Barcelona forward told Sky Sport Italia. "But I only have Milan on my mind. I’m happy here and I can give even more.
“I’m thinking of nothing else but playing for Milan. I really wanted to wear this shirt and do well for the cause and I always gave my best when I was called upon by the coach."
Although Lopez netted just once in the league, he did grab a goal in the Coppa Italia semi-final second-leg clash against Juventus in Turin.
