AC Milan duo Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva fit for Roma clash - report

The striker had been forced off with back pain during the trip to Juventus, while the Brazilian was seen limping after the match, but both are in line to start against the Lupi
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva have been given the green light to feature in AC Milan's Serie A encounter with Roma on Saturday, according to Tuttosport.

The striker had been considered a doubt ahead of the match after he was substituted early in the second-half against Juventus in Tuesday's Coppa Italia semi-final with back pain.

There were also fears Thiago Silva would miss out having limped off at the end of the fixture, but he too appears to have shaken off his knock and both will be part of the matchday squad against the Giallorossi.

The return of Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva coincides with those of trio Alessandro Nesta, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Alexander Merkel; all of whom should start on the bench at the weekend.

Kick-off at San Siro is scheduled for 18:00CET, as the Rossoneri look to continue their reign at the top of the Serie A standings.
