The Serbian midfielder is eager to get things back on track as soon as possible in order to finish the campaign on a positive note after a disappointing season to dateInter midfielder Dejan Stankovic is desperate to return to winning ways again after the Nerazzurri's Champions League round of 16 elimination at the hands of Olympique de Marseille midweek.
The Giuseppe Meazza side have been going through a difficult 2011-12 campaign so far, and Stankovic is determined to end the season on a high.
"It's a tough time but we need to go again. Let's finish this season with our heads held high, proud of what we've achieved and of the season itself," Stankovic was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"We need to take the positives even if we haven't had big results, and work together, as a unit. As I've said, if I think about the future, I've got faith because I trust Moratti.
"If I think about the next match, I'm happy to play straight away again at the San Siro, in our stadium. On Sunday we've got Atalanta, awkward opponents, they're having a great season and they have good players. It will be a great game."
Sunday's Serie A game against Atalanta kicks off at 15.00CET.
