The Italy international is currently on loan to the Rossoneri from Liverpool but a deal has already been agreed between the two clubs to make Aquilani's stay at San Siro permanent in the summer.
All that is now required is for Aquilani, who has made 15 appearances for Milan in Serie A and five in the Champions League, to line out five more times for Massimiliano Allegri's men, according to agent Franco Zavaglia
"It's all written in the contract," he told Tuttomercatoweb.com. "Once Alberto has made 25 appearances for the Rossoneri, he will be a Milan player in all respects."
Aquilani has been sidelined with an ankle problem since January but Zavaglia revealed that his client's comeback is now just approximately a fortnight away.
"He's progressing very well," he revealed. I hope he can return in mid-March."
Aquilani was signed by Liverpool for €20 million from Roma in 2009 but his time at Anfield was blighted by injuries and he spent last season on loan at Juventus before being farmed out to Milan before the start of the current campaign.
