AC Milan attacker Stephan El Shaarawy has expressed his delight with his side's 2-1 Serie A win over Udinese on Saturday evening.
Antonio Di Natale gave Udinese an early lead, but goals from Maxi Lopez and El Shaarawy helped the Rossoneri to recover and take three points, much to the satisfaction of the young forward.
"We played a really good game today [Saturday] and it was anything but easy against Udinese who have strong legs and real quality. With a lot of heart and determination we turned the game around," El Shaarawy was quoted as saying on the official Milan website.
"I always try and give my all when I get on the pitch. I’ve scored twice in the league, both against Udinese. I’m happy for the goal and for the win.
"Maxi Lopez is working for the team. He gives us quality and self-sacrifice. It was a real job that we did here today."
Milan sit top of the table with 47 points from 23 games and have a two-point lead over Juventus, who have two games in hand.
