Inter have named Wesley Sneijder in their lineup for today's visit of Novara in Serie A in the place of Giampaolo Pazzini.
The playmaker's return to the fold is one of six changes made by coach Claudio Ranieri, who is hoping a new-look XI will be able to banish the memory of the 4-0 defeat to Roma at the Olimpico.
The remaining casualties see Walter Samuel, Maicon, Yuto Nagatomo, Angelo Palombo and Joel Obi all dropped at the expense of Ivan Cordoba, Cristian Chivu, Dejan Stankovic, Andrea Poli and Ricardo Alvarez.
Meanwhile for Novara, there are just the two changes from the goalless draw with Cagliari, which sees Jeda and Ivan Radovanovic come into the side to replace Simone Pesce and the unavailable Giuseppe Mascara.
The teams are as follows:
Inter (4-3-2-1): Julio Cesar; Zanetti, Cordoba, Lucio, Chivu; Stankovic, Cambiasso, Poli; Alvarez, Sneijder; Milito
Subs: Castellazzi, Pazzini, Forlan, Palombo, Obi, Ranocchia, Nagatomo
Novara (3-5-2): Ujkani; Lisuzzo, Centurioni, Garcia; Dellafiore, Porcari, Radovanovic, Rigoni, Gemiti; Jeda, Caracciolo
Subs: Fontana, Rubino, Gabriel Silva, Morganella, Pesce, Paci, Rinaudo
