Ouasim Bouy hopes to follow in Edgar Davids' footsteps at Juventus
The teenage forward only arrived in Turin from Ajax in January but he has wasted little time in making his present felt, scoring a goal on his debut for the Bianconeri's Primavera

Juventus midfielder Ouasim Bouy hopes to emulate his compatriot Edgar Davids and become a star for the Bianconeri.
The 18-year-old only arrived in Turin from Ajax in January but he has wasted little time in making his presence felt, scoring a goal just six minutes into his debut for Juve's youth team.
"To come on and score was beautiful," Bouy told Tuttosport. "Even more so because it was in front of my parents, who joined me here on Wednesday.
"I could not have imagined a better debut."
Bouy is not getting ahead of himself but his goal is to follow in the footsteps of former Netherlands international Davids, who enjoyed a successful seven-year stint with Juve.
"It would be a dream if the fans one day came to love me like they did Edgar Davids," he enthused, before admitting that his style of play is more similar to that of another former favourite of the Bianconeri faithful.
"I have always had only one idol and role model, Zinedine Zidane, the best of them all.
"But I am comfortable in every position in midfield; behind the strikers or just in front of the defence are both fine for me."
In terms of the current Juventus side, though, Bouy admitted that there is one player he is particularly keen to learn from.
"On Sunday I watched the match against Siena," he explained. "[Andrea] Pirlo is fantastic: he makes the most difficult things appear simple."
Bouy, who was signed for undisclosed fee, never appeared in the Eredivisie for former club Ajax but is considered one of his country's brightest young talents nonetheless.
