Brazilian midfielder Diego vented his frustration at Juventus’ recent inconsistent results after the Old Lady suffered a costly 2-0 defeat away to French side Bordeaux in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

“It’s not a fitness issue, it is an organisational one,” he told Tuttosport before apparently calling into question boss Ciro Ferrara’s methods.

“Ferrara must identify these problems and explain to us how to solve them because we have to get out of this situation.”

The former Werder Bremen man did very little to help Juve’s cause at the Chaban-Delmas, spurning a golden chance from six yards to level the scores before Bordeaux added a second late on.

“I thought the goalkeeper or the defender were coming towards me,” he explained.

“They let the ball slide away instead and I was taken aback.”

Juve are still in the driving seat to seal their passage to the knock-out stage of the competition, despite the reverse.

The Bianconeri need to avoid defeat when German giants Bayern Munich travel to the Olimpico on December 8 if they want to progress.
