Talks between the two clubs began on Wednesday over the €115 million transfer of the Wales international, with coach Carlo Ancelotti confirming he hoped for a speedy resolution to the proposed deal.
Now, following Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos, Kaka has become the latest player from Madrid's squad to praise the 24-year-old.
"He's a very, very good player," Kaka told Sky Sports News. "If he comes to Madrid he will be welcomed.
"He's an amazing player with lots of technical ability, skills and tricks. We will be very happy if he comes.”
