Jean Marie Dongou is hoping he has impressed new Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino after scoring twice in their 7-0 demolition of Valerenga on Saturday.
The Blaugrana ran out comfortable winners, with the 18-year-old Cameroonian scoring twice after replacing Lionel Messi after the break and he says he is determined to make an impact on the newly-appointed coach.
"It was very special to score goals with the best team in the world. I'm very happy," enthused following the side's 7-0 thrashing of Valarenga.
"It is always important to play well in the first team."
"I am aware of his (Martino's) commitment to the grassroots. Now up to us to prove to him that we are capable of playing (in the first team)."
Dongou featured in 31 matches for Barcelona 'B' last term, scoring six goals in the process.
