Marc Bartra has expressed his delight at being part of Barcelona's first team heading into the new season.
The defender was given a number of opportunities in the Blaugrana set-up in 2012-13 due to injuries across the backline and the centre-back is thrilled with his progress at Camp Nou.
"I’m very happy with last season - it’s been a dream come true for me to be in the first team," Bartra told the Catalans' official website.
"There have been great moments and the hard ones will help me learn and continue to grow."
Bartra was part of the Spain Under-21 side which secured back-to-back European Championship titles in June and the 22-year-old claimed that the triumph has allowed for a perfect preparation to the new Liga campaign.
He added: "Winning the European U-21s has given me what I needed to relax and now it’s time to refocus and start to prepare for the pre-season."
