Barcelona fans demand most from me, says Fabregas
The former Arsenal man believes that Barca supporters want more from him than any other player at Camp Nou, while is also gearing up for their "most important" clash this year
Cesc Fabregas says more is expected from him than any of his other team-mates by Barcelona fans, while insisting they can overturn their 2-0 deficit to AC Milan in the Champions League.
The Liga leaders are currently enduring a slump in form with only one win in their last four games, including a double header defeat to rivals Real Madrid and a first-leg loss to the Rossoneri.
And with the prospect of being knocked out of Europe and the Copa del Rey defeat at the hands of Madrid, Fabregas is aware of the pressure being levelled at him by fans.
He told reporters: “I understand that the Barcelona fans demand more of me than my team-mates. If I have a bad game, I go back 10 good ones."
Barca host Milan next week in the Champions League second leg and the 25-year-old recognises the importance of the encounter to the Blaugrana's season.
Fabregas added: "We're not going to kid ourselves. Tuesday's game is the most important. Everyone believes we can turn the tie around.
"It's a little bit unfair that after just three games people are doubting this team. Football is not that simple. Things aren't finished after three games, and three games isn't enough to start anything.”
