Paris Saint-Germain are not a one-man team, says Pereira
The Valencia defender admits his side will need to be focused on more than just Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Tuesday night, as the French side have quality all over the pitch
Joao Pereira says Valencia will need to be wary of all of Paris Saint-Germain's players and not just their star names.Los Che welcome the Ligue 1 leaders to the Mestalla in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic undoubtedly the main goal threat for the Parisian side.
However, Pereira was keen to stress that les Parisiens have a wealth of quality across the park, and highlighted the size of the task ahead for his side.
“PSG are a very good team with some very good players,” he told reporters. “We have to be extremely focused if we want to get a result.
Pereira also spoke about PSG's excellent league form, and the money they have spent to bring the best players to France.
“They have spent a lot of money over the past couple of season and that shows with where they are in the league.
“It's going to be a great game.”
Valencia battled to a 1-0 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday and sit in fifth spot in La Liga.
