Fabregas out for up to four weeks with thigh injury
The former Arsenal man was withdrawn during the first half of Sunday's game with Betis at the Benito Villamarin and now faces around a month on the sidelines
Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas will miss three to four weeks of action with a thigh injury, the club have confirmed. The Spain international started the match against Betis but was forced off the field of play at the Benito Villamarin inside just 10 minutes after pulling up unopposed.
According to the club, scans have since revealed that Fabregas tore the biceps femoris in his left thigh and subsequently faces up to a month out of action.
Barcelona are currently 2-1 to the good against the Andalucians, but the match will be more remembered for Lionel Messi, who broke Gerd Muller's record of 85 goals in a calendar year.
