Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has announced he is yet to decide who he feels should be awarded the prestigious Ballon d'Or.
Barcelona midfielder Xavi recently stated his belief that the Spain international should be considered and former Blancos team-mate Ivan Campo also tipped the 31-year-old for the award.
But, despite the continued debate over who will walk away with the prize, Casillas is insistent he will not make his choice until it is completely necessary and refused to speculate over potential nominees.
"The 23 finalists have not been announced or anything. When it comes time to vote, then let us consider whether each is right or wrong. I have not sent my votes," he said to Antena 3.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is the current holder of the award and has won the prize three years running, with the latest winner due to be revealed at the start of 2013.
