Athletic Bilbao manager Marcelo Bielsa is disappointed with his team's 3-3 draw with Espanyol on Sunday afternoon, believing they could and should have won the game.
Los Leones battled back from a two-goal deficit to grab a point at Estadio Cornellá-El Prat, while Fernando Llorente made a goalscoring return to the side.
But the former Albiceleste coach lamented defensive errors when reflecting upon two points lost.
"We came back twice, obviously it was a high scoring game," the Chilean coach told AS.
"I haven't given the team defensive stability, which doesn't help matters. Too much movement meant there were collective errors and we lacked balance.
"In the first half we didn't defend well, but in the second we gave away very few chances."
On crowd favourite Llorente's return to action for Athletic, Bielsa remarked: "Goals always affect the player that scores them, as well his team and the fans."
"Him scoring was positive."
