The Catalans' president has voiced his opinion that the Real Madrid star is by no means the world's second best, and also took a dig at Jose Mourinho
The Portugal international is widely regarded as one of the two best players in the world, along with Lionel Messi, however, the Camp Nou chief feels he does not measure up to Barca's standards.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is not the second-best player in the world. He's the world's number 12. The 11 best players all play for Barcelona," Rosell said at a round-table meeting at the Instituto de Quimica de Sarria.
The Barcelona supremo then took a dig at Madrid coach Jose Mourinho, referring to when the flamboyant trainer poked Tito Vilanova in his eye after a bad-tempered encounter between the Clasico rivals.
"I would never accept a coach who wants to win at all costs. I would immediately apologise if the coach of my club had poked another person in his eye..."
Mourinho guided Real Madrid to their first Liga title since 2008 last term.
