Madrid demand €100,000 in damages from Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao

A capital city official has declared his intentions to claim a six-figure sum from the participants in the Copa del Rey final, which was hosted at the Vicente Calderon
The deputy mayor of Madrid is demanding a combined figure of €100,000 from Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao for their abuse of the Vicente Calderon during the Copa del Rey final.According to official sources, Miguel Angel Villanueva has filed for claims to cover fees incurred by cleaning of the premises and damage caused by fans at the home of Atletico Madrid on May 25.
However, it is estimated that in the Spanish capital, around 20,000 Blaugrana and Basque fans had left the stadium to relocate to the Fan Zone located on the Madrid Rio.
The final ended 3-0 in favour of Barca, who ended a disappointing season on a high with a Copa victory.
