Emery set to leave Valencia at season's end - report

The Spanish coach has apparently told his players that he will move on at the conclusion of the current campaign as a series of mixed results have put his job under threat
Valencia coach Unai Emery will leave the club at the end of the season, according to AS.

The 40-year-old has come under fire lately after a disappointing second half of the season, which has seen Los Che lose their grip on third place in the Liga standings.

Thursday's 4-2 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Europa League has only added pressure on Emery, who reportedly told his players during today's training session that he will leave in the summer.

Emery arrived at Valencia in 2008, and lost to Real Madrid in the Supercopa during his first season in charge at Mestalla.

He guided the club to the Champions League on two occasions, but they were never able to go beyond the Round of 16 under his command.
