Valencia striker Aritz Aduriz has hailed the performances of club team-mates Roberto Soldado and Jordi Alba for Spain on Wednesday night, and hopes that the duo can replicate this form for Los Che.
The pair starred in La Roja's 5-0 win over Venezuela in midweek, with the in-form attacker grabbing a hat-trick; their Mestalla colleague was impressed with the individual efforts in the victory.
"Roberto played well; scoring three goals and performing at a very high level," the 31-year-old Aduriz told Marca.
"Jordi was very complete also, playing in two positions and showing great versatility, with a vertical game and providing goals.
"The national team players have an incredible level of ability, know how they want to play and perform well."
Unai Emery's team, meanwhile, sit in third in La Liga, but after a number of disappointing results Aduriz is eager to push for three points against Granada this weekend.
"There is concern that things do not go to plan, and it is just and necessary," the forward admitted.
"We are optimistic and we are in a good position.
"We have had setbacks that have cost us points, but we must move forward; we have a week to try to get back on track in the league and move forward in the Europa League."
