It had been claimed that the former Spain goalkeeper had recently travelled to England to discuss a deal with the Premier League outfit for the Wales international.
However, Zubizarreta insists that he has not held talks with Spurs and reiterated his faith in Barca's youth team when it comes to strengthening the senior squad.
"It's not true that I have been in London negotiating with anyone and I have already said a thousand times that 90 per cent of (our) 'signable' players are at Barca or in the youth team," he told El Mundo Deportivo.
Bale has established himself as one of the most exciting wingers in world football over the past 12 months and has been linked with a €40 million switch to Camp Nou in recent weeks.
