Real Madrid Starlet Jese Rodriguez To Make Official Debut In Champions League Game Against Ajax - Report

The promising winger could be in line for his official debut in Wednesday's match in Amsterdam after impressing with the club's reserves as Jose Mourinho looks to rest players
Highly-rated youngster Jese Rodriguez could be in line for his official Real Madrid first team debut as coach Jose Mourinho has included the winger in his match squad for Wednesday's Champions League Group D game away to Ajax, AS reports.

The 18-year-old is considered to be one of the most promising talents to have come through the ranks of the Madrid youth academy in recent years and has already drawn comparisons with Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Jese trained with the first team during pre-season and featured in friendlies against LA Galaxy, Chivas Guadalajara, Philadelphia Union, Leicester City, Hertha Berlin and Tianjin Teda.

However, he has yet to make his first competitive appearance for the Blancos and will be hopeful of getting playing time against Ajax.

Mourinho is expected to rest several key players for the match in the Amsterdam ArenA as Madrid have already booked their ticket to the last 16 as group winners, and lock horns with arch-rivals Barcelona this weekend.
