Jesus Navas Could Play For Barcelona - Dani Alves
Jesus Navas' growing maturity and improving performances for Sevilla could see him step up to one of Europe's major clubs, like Barcelona, according to Dani Alves.
Daniel Alves believes that Jesus Navas could follow him to Barcelona or a club of similar stature as he continues to mature at Sevilla with each passing season.
The Brazilian full-back has made a seamless move from the Sanchez Pizjuan to Camp Nou and thinks that his former team-mate is capable of doing the same.
While not openly inviting Navas to push for a move, Alves did state that many Blaugrana players have told him that they are fans of the young midfielder.
"It will not be long before he joins a club on the same level as Barca," Alves told Sevilla ABC.
"Each year he becomes more and more mature and for me he is a great player. He always adds something different and many players at Barcelona have said how good he is."
Luis Fabiano has committed himself to Sevilla rather than seek a move elsewhere in recent months and Alves remembers his relationships with the striker fondly.
"I had a special connection with Luis," he added.
One thing that Alves has helped to promote off the pitch at Camp Nou is music and he has revealed that the team now have something playing in the dressing room and on coach trips.
"We have a mixture on for people to enjoy. I have always known music in the dressing room, but it was something that was not done here before," he explained.
