The Tottenham manager feels David Moyes' side will kick on now they have faced the division's bigger sides and expects a dip in form for Arsenal

Andre Villas-Boas has backed Manchester United to climb up the Premier League table having already faced a number of the division's stronger teams.

Tottenham, meanwhile, sit three points off the summit of the table in fifth place following a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at the weekend, while David Moyes' side lie eighth with just three wins from their opening eight games.

Villas-Boas does not expect a clear front runner for the title to emerge for some weeks, but does feel current table-toppers Arsenal to start dropping points following a relatively easy start to the season.

"The Premier League looks extremely open this season," he told reporters. "It's so open that the 14th team has 10 points. Everyone is so tight together.

"We will see the big fixtures coming for Arsenal, they have only played us and they will play other big teams.

"So I would suppose the fixture list at the moment is in favour of Manchester United because they have played all of the big teams so far.

"That will give them a chance to bounce back for sure."

United are already faced Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool this season, with a points return of just one.
