Uefa: Swansea will use English flag

The governing body has confirmed, if the Swans qualify for the Europa League by overcoming Bradford in the Capital One Cup final, they will represent England and not Wales
Uefa has announced ahead of Swansea's Capital One Cup final next Sunday that they will have to represent England rather than Wales if they are victorious against Bradford City and qualify for the Europa League.The Swans face the League Two side with a chance to return to Europe for the first time since 1991, with the showpiece itself being their first major final in over 100 years, but they would have to compete using the English flag, in spite of the club's location in Wales.

A Uefa spokesman said: "It would be up to the FA if Swansea take a Europa League position instead of an English club. If the FA give it to Swansea they will have an English flag by their name.
"Swansea would qualify as representatives of the English FA."
Swansea have overcome Crawley, Middlesbrough, Barnsley, Liverpool and Chelsea to make it this far, while Bradford knocked out Premier League opposition in Arsenal, Aston Villa and Wigan to earn their place in the final.
