TEAM NEWS: Giroud & Mertesacker return for Arsenal with Michu on the bench for Swansea

The experienced duo are recalled at the expense of captain Thomas Vermaelen and Lukas Podolski, but Michael Laudrup's men are without their top scorer from the start
Olivier Giroud returns to the Arsenal starting lineup for Sunday's FA Cup third round clash with Swansea.

Per Mertesacker is also recalled to the Gunners XI in favour of captain Thomas Vermaelen as boss Arsene Wenger shuffles his pack to face the Swans.

Michael Laudrup, meanwhile, is without top scorer Michu, who scored twice in the Premier League meeting between these two sides in December.

The Spaniard has been struggling with a back injury and is only fit for the bench, with Danny Graham deputising in the centre of the Swans' attack.
