I do not pay too much attention to criticism, insists Suarez
The Liverpool striker claims that only the support of his team-mates and the club's fans is important to him and says that he has enjoyed his role under new manager Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says he has learned to ignore his critics and insists that only the support of his team-mates and the club's fans is important to him.The Uruguay striker has starred for the Reds this season, netting 14 goals in all competitions so far in 2012-13.
Suarez has had plenty of detractors since he was suspended for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra but claims he pays little attention to what is said and written about him.

"Whatever I do on the field, good or bad, is going to receive some comment so I deal with it by trying not to pay too much attention to it.
"What's important to me is the way my team-mates treat me, and the relationship I've got with them. I enjoy the support of the fans, and I'm at a club where I'm very happy. That's very important."
Suarez believes that Liverpool are heading in the right direction under new manager Brendan Rodgers and says he is enjoying his role among the young players introduced into the Northern Irishman's setup at Anfield.
"I'm really enjoying the manager's style of play, it really suits my game," he added. "We've got some fantastic youngsters here who are providing a lot to the side now and will give even more in future."
