Wenger: Arsenal aim is top four, not Tottenham toppling

The Gunners' manager has confirmed that the north London club want to finish in the top four to qualify for the Champions League, as opposed to just outdoing their rivals
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated that the Gunners' Premier League aim is securing a place in the top four and not just in a higher position than north London rivals Tottenham.The two clubs have been just points apart from each other at the close of the past three campaigns, which has emphasised the importance of the derby for the two sides.
Ahead of Saturday's clash, however, Wenger has insisted that the Gunners are not merely concerned with finishing above their rivals come the end of the season in May.

"But the target of the season is not to finish above Tottenham, it is to finish in the top four [at least]. There's not only Tottenham but other teams who can be in front of us."
The club has come under scrutiny in recent months for its failure to return to title contention, including criticism from former stars such as Ray Parlour.
However, Wenger believes that Arsenal are coming back into the form which has seen them repeatedly qualify for the Champions League.
"[Our attacking fluidity] has been there because in some games we had that very well at the start of the season," he continued.
"We lost it a little bit at Norwich, against Schalke at home where we were a bit flat and against Manchester United.
"Of course, then you wonder is it down to our potential. Is that down to the fact that we are just flat at the moment, physically?
"That’s what we want to show now; that maybe we have come through a difficult patch, physically."
